近日，我院教师吴志伟博士联合美国密苏里大学、美国米苏拉火灾科学实验室、美国地质调查局、美国罗德岛大学等国内外科研机构，基于MODIS遥感数据，采用地理信息空间分析技术和统计模型，研究了中国主要森林生态区林火时空格局及其影响因素，并评估了不同气候模式(GFDL-CM3和GISS-E2-R)和温室气体排放浓度情景下（RCP 2.6和8.5）森林火灾时空变化趋势。
以上研究成果发表在《International Journal of Wildland Fire》上（JCR分区一区）。《International Journal of Wildland Fire》是国际野火协会（International Association of Wildland Fire, IAWF）主办的旗舰期刊，也是国际火灾三大权威期刊（包括野火和城市/工业火灾）之一。过去30年来，《International Journal of Wildland Fire》全球年均发文量约60篇。其中，2002年-2019年间中国学者在该期刊发文量仅34篇。
